Enjoy Yourself and eat Foods You Like - Jacob Relation
Well in my last tips post one of my tips was to have fun. I wanted to elaborate a little bit about that.
You can have fun and do exercise by doing things you enjoy, whether you just want to walk around your neighborhood and chat with a few neighbors, go for a bicycle ride, go for a hike, go on a trail walk, go surfing, play sports, and the list goes on. There are many things people like to do that is exercise, of course some of the exercises are more strenuous and will burn calories faster but hey as long as you are doing something to stay focused and enjoy yourself on your journey to being a healthier you then enjoy yourself.
I also stated in the last posts to eat fruits and vegetables. This doesn't mean you have to go and eat veggies you don't like. You can look through recipes for veggies and fruits you do like. Just remember to stay away from things that are high in calories or unhealthy because then that defeats the purpose of trying to be healthy by eating these sorts of foods. remember to eat protein as well but this can be foods you like, such as grilled chicken breast, salmon fillets, or whatever meat you like or protein filled foods you like.As long as it's not like deep fried chicken that is more grease than protein then you should be fine in enjoying some of the foods you eat.
Anyways that is just a little bit more insight into the tips I discussed previously which can be found here: http://jacobrelation.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/jacob-relation-5-healthy-tips.html

Jacob Relation- 5 Healthy Tips
5 Healthy Tips - Jacob Relation
Well I wanted to start this blog off with some healthy tips to help motivate others to be healthier. I myself am working towards being healthier always so this helps motivate me as well.
Tip 1: Drink more water!
Drinking more water helps flush unhealthy things out of your body and helps you remain hydrated and water doesn't have all the unhealthy sugars and calories that things like soda and artificial juices have.
Tip 2: Get out and walk!
Some people say they don't have the motivation or don't know where to start with exercise. So I think by getting out to walk more it helps you work your way up towards having the energy to actually exercise more. It also is nice just to walk sometimes to get the extra fresh air and do something different. So I recommend if you need to go pick up a jug of milk or something small from a store, try walking to it.
Tip 3: Consume more protein!
Protein is an important part of your diet, it's what helps with muscle recovery and development. So if you cut back on things such as bread and raise your protein intake then you can begin to work towards better muscle development. However I recommend avoiding protein bars because many of them actually aren't all that healthy or are loaded with calories.
Tip 4: Eat more fruits and veggies!
Some people I know barely eat any fruit, some people will say not to overeat fruits and I understand why because fruit has natural sugars. However I do recommend making sure you eat more fruit if you don;t consume much. Fruit has a lot of healthy vitamins and nutrients. Vitamin C for example is very helpful to the body. Vegetables are good because they have fiber, nutrients, vitamins and are low in calories and sugars. So that is why I recommend eating more veggies on a regular basis.
Tip 5: Have Fun!
People get discouraged exercising or eating healthy and that is what leads them to stop a lot of times. So I say enjoy yourself, you don't have to be bored or uncomfortable to exercise or eat healthy. Look for healthy recipes that interests you and make them, Go for a walk a bicycle ride or something you enjoy because hey if it's fun and you enjoy it and it also happens to be exercise that is a bonus.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!
